
After fighting on a name for months, my parents decided on a compromise between spelling it Caroline and pronouncing it Carolyn, thus holding me to a life of constantly correcting those dearest to me.
Caroline Depalma holds an MFA in Creative Writing from New School University, and is on the poetry staff of LIT magazine. Her work has appeared most recently in Soundings East, Saranac Review, and Flashquake. Her poem ‘Miss Macho in the Dugout’ won Honorable Mention in Spindle Magazine’s New York City Playball! poetry contest.
